We will be allocating gasoline much sooner than people think if for no other reason than logistics. I would not want to be rich when the world loses its mobility. Europe isn't even in the 15 countries talked about in the above article and they will be completely out of all fossil fuels within the next 5 years.
If you believe you are immune to this situation you are in for a rude ...awakening or at least your children will be once we begin to run out of energy and lose our mobility in this country and throughout our world.
This entire planet will turn into complete anarchy and no body will be safe. United States is the most violent and well armed nation on the planet.
Instead of doing something about this situation, the world is engaged in trivial things compared to the real issues like powering the planet without fossil fuels, water shortages, food shortages, climate change and finally population control, which will be totally meaningless if we don't solve this energy problem first. If you can't understand solving this issue is the most important thing you can do to sustain your way of life, then your not as smart as I thought you were.
I am just one person and I am not motivated to become a billionaire. If I can't bring the world together, so that everybody on the planet benefits, I will just take this invention to my grave.
If you think experts believe we can solve this issue, you need to watch EARTH 2100, because the experts don't have much confidence in our abilities to solve this issue through clean alternative energy. As you watch this video notice how fast the population dwindles. The video leaves out all the human suffering in the video to reduce the shock effect for people watching the video. Otherwise the holocaust would be totally shocking.
